As a California licensed and ASHA board certified Speech and Language Pathologist I provide a variety of speech and language services to children of all ages in Los Angeles in their home and/or school setting.  I have been practicing in the field for more than 10 years.

Evaluation for Speech and Language Skills

Screenings and Evaluations are tailored to your child's needs.  The evaluation may include a combination of the following:  articulation, fluency, phonological awareness skills, expressive and receptive language skills, auditory processing skills, and/or pragmatic language skills.  In addition, parent and teacher input is an integral part of the evaluation.

Articulation and Fluency Skills

Articulation and Fluency Therapy Sessions focus on pronunciation of speech sounds in words, sentences, and conversation.  In addition, these sessions target fluency-enhancing strategies to ensure children can communicate effectively and efficiently.

Raising Hands

Expressive, Receptive and Pragmatic Language Skills

Expressive, Receptive, and Pragmatic Language Therapy Sessions focus on learning how to express wants/needs effectively, using grammatical forms correctly, and increasing vocabulary knowledge.  In addition, these sessions target strategies for listening comprehension and auditory processing skills with a focus on following directions, answering questions, and understanding verbal messages.  These sessions also focus on teaching social skills including, but not limited to, making appropriate eye-contact, problem-solving, and inferencing.

Pre-Literacy and Literacy Skills

Pre-Literacy and Literacy Therapy Sessions focus on enriching your child's decoding and reading skills by teaching phonological awareness skills: rhyming, letter-sound correspondence, decoding, segmenting, and syllable knowledge.  In addition, these sessions also target reading comprehension skills.

Talking with Tots Class

Parent and Tot class led by a Speech and Language Pathologist

Talking with Tots is a fun, interactive playgroup that will teach you how to enhance your child's language and communication skills within everyday routines and play.  This class is for children ages 18 months-3 years old. 


This class can be tailored to your group of friends during COVID-19 and can be provided outside.
